Reality vs Imagination

Chapter 5 opens with a powerful realisation:

“Ask yourself right now if you want to be a prisoner or if you want to be free. No one in their right mind would pick captivity if the choice was put before them so clearly. But let’s think about it for a moment—nobody in their right mind would choose bondage, yet when you’re honest with yourself, it’s evident that until now, that has been your choice. Choosing to be weak and insufficient is a kind of prison. Is it possible then that you haven’t been in your right mind? What other possibility is there? The answer is simple: you’ve been thinking with your split mind. A symptom of a split mind is a belief that you’ve been successful in splitting apart from God.”

This passage struck me deeply. It challenges us to recognise the ways in which we unknowingly hold ourselves back and to reclaim our power by realising that we are never truly separate from the Divine.

This book is both thought-provoking and empowering. It doesn’t shy away from challenging our perceptions but does so in a way that feels deeply reassuring. The reminder that we are always connected to the Universe and that abundance is our birthright is one I will carry with me.
